Pursuing exactly where the preceding movie eventually left off, Alice (Milla Jovovich) and the other people on the Umbrella Corporation freighter Arcadia experience an assault by a navy of airships guided by Alice's ex - ally Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory), who has been programmed by Umbrella via a red scarab unit connected to her chest area. When Alice leads to an airship to crash into the vessel, she is pulled unconscious into the water.
